I was considering upgrading my HTPC - I have an unused core i7 965 from my desktop and was thinking about using that (with my GIGABYTE Extreme).

So, considering it is being used in the living room I would prefer it to be quiet, and also fit inside this case: http://www.xigmatek.com/product.php?productid=28&type=specification

It will be running stock speeds, no overclocking is required obviously. Cheaper is also preferable, it doesn't have to be the highest performing on the market, and will hopefully cost a bit under £50 (or £30-40 if possible!)

I was thinking of the AC Freezer 13 (Not Pro, aka http://www.scan.co.uk/products/arct...ler-intel-775-1155-1156-1366-amd-939-am2-am2p) as it looks pretty quiet from reviews. Thoughts?

Just wanted to update, I ended up buying the AC Freezer 13 and it works perfectly. Quieter than the case fans, even at higher loads (~80%) whilst keeping the temperature at 55-57C across the cores in this small case. It fits well too, it doesn't prevent me from using side fans on this case.

Also, off-topic but finding out that 4 sticks can be used for triple channel with my motherboard was a bonus!
