Hi
Ever since I got my new PC built I have been thinking if the cooling for the memory is sufficient with just the case fans. I wouldn't be asking this if it did not run on XMP profile because what I understood XMP is technically a overclock?

What do you guys think, do I need to install ram fans or not?

Anyone run their XMP with just heatsink?

This is my memory

Thanks!

XMP isn't overclocking the sticks....they are rated to run those speeds on the package. It is overclocking the cpu memory cotroller though. ;)

That said, they don't need cooled. Case airflow is fine. :)
