Are the fans that come with Dominator GT's better for benching than just pointing a 120mm at it? Do they work well? Would it be worth it to buy one if I didn"t get one with the ram? Anyone know how much they go for?

Just drop a 120mm on it. Unless you are severely overclocking and volting the ram, its almost not needed.

I would think a 120mm would put off more air on the RAM rather than 2 60mm fans or whatever they are. But, I could be wrong.

I have one that came with my ram and I find myself barely using it.

WHAT?!!? I CANT HEAR YOU OVER BOBn's FAN... CAN YOU SPEAK UP? :p

I bet his ramz never get above ambient.

I use it on SB stuff to keep the ram warm, otherwise it gets wet due to cold-but-not-freezing temps.

It really is 3.3 amps. PWM too! I use a Bing controller on one of 'em and am building a pushbutton flavor for the other.

I dont know if my local power grid could handle that fan Bob. Lol. Thanks guys
