ram upgrade?

what would be a better upgrade from my 8g (2x4g) 1600 cas11 ram?

16g of 1600 cas11

or 8g of 2000 cas9?

I mostly game

IMO, neither.

To start, 8GB is plenty of ram. And to end, ram speed doesnt give you any performance gains in gaming.

What about load time, for some reason I get a kick about loading league of legends faster then anyone else lol

in this case get 16 gb of ram and install LoL on a RamDisk.

Load times would in all likelihood only benefit from faster disk IO... maybe a second SSD in RAID0 would help you load faster? Typically RAM won't decrease level load times in games.

Load times have nothing to do with ram... its all HDD. You want to load faster, buy an SSD if you dont have one already.
