Greetings folks!

Been reading this forum off and on for years but never joined till now, hence my first post....

I have recently built a PC for photo/video editing and gaming (build specs below) and am now experiencing unusual random temperature spikes when CPU is at idle or under load. I am not using the system any differently than I have been using it since I built it about a year ago. I have the system running at stock speeds and the RAM is running at 3200mhz. What could be causing this? Could my cooler be going out? Any suggestions would be appreciated. If more details are needed, please let me know. Thank you!

System-
Motherboard: MSI Titanium X99
CPU: Intel 6850k (running at stock speed)
RAM: 32gb G.Skill Trident Z 3200 (F4-3200C16Q-32GTZ)
GPU: EVGA 1080 ftw
Power supply: Corsair HX850
Liquid Cooler: Corsair H110i
Case: Corsair 780t
Storage:
Samsung 960 pro m.2 ssd
WD 1tb black
WD 2tb green
Seagate 4tb

Is your Av kicking in @ those same times ?
is there some process using the CPU ?

Have you ran a stress test to test @ a max load situation ?
