Record keeping and update apps ?

hi,

Im not good when it comes to database related application, so I need your help. I want to store and update the infos of members of boyscout on computer and keep track those fields : rank,date entry,age,gender ..etc ..what would be an effective way to do it ? or Is there a package outthere fits my solution.

The easiest way would either be a spreadsheet, or a database. If you use access you can just build a form. It would be fairly easy to do if all you are collecting is basic info.
