Reinstall windows 7 in uefi mode?

Sadly, my samsung 840 evo is dying after only 1.5 years of use. I have decided to upgrade to an 850 pro as it was on sale. Now my question is, would it benefit me to install windows 7 in uefi mode rather than standard mode? I believe all of my hardware is uefi compatible(full specs below) and wanted to know if it was worth it?

Amd fx 8350 @4.5GHz 1.4v
asus m5a99fx pro r2.0
8Gb ddr3 1600 c9
3 drive raid 0 stripe, 1 backup drive, 1 boot ssd
sapphire r9 280

I did it, not in raid though. Doesn't seem to be much, if any difference for my uses.

from my personal experience, booting from a UEFI W8 install vs. non-UEFI, the non was definitely faster...though its not supposed to be...right?

If your Evo is about to die, RMA the thing. It has a 3 year warranty...
