I had this video card for almost 4years now and im planning to replace it. any suggestions? I dont think Im planning to do eyefinity(way to expensive) but im a gamer so I would like something thats worth my buck.

LCD: Samsung Px2370 1920x1080
MOBO: M4A89GTD PRO USB 3.0
RAM: 2*2GB G.SKILL 1600 DDR3
PSU: Hec COUGAR 700w
PROC: Phenom II x3 720 B.E stable at 3.4ghz
V.Card: 4770 GDDR5 512mb ram.
HDD: Seagate 7200rpm 320gb

Best bang for the buck would be a reference HD6950 with unlocked shaders (or flashed to a HD6970).

What's the budget you're working with?

I wouldnt really care about the price as long as its worth it. Of course I dont want an overprice card when I can get the same performance on a cheaper one, ill have a look at that 6950..thanks

GTX570 when overclocked comes close to 580 and beats 6970 costs about the same as 6970 and way less than 580, if you game on 1920x1080 it can run almost anything on max graphics

You could not have had that card for 4 years, but rather 2 years, no more.

Your replacement could be a HD6870 too.

speaking of HD6870, I saw some review that a 5870 performs better. is this true? I would really like something that I could max out in my 1920x1080 but that could also handle my other hardware..
