RGB keyboard and mouse recommendations

Oh what fun , but my 15 year old son is asking for an RGB keyboard and mouse combo. I, personally, hate RGB and want no part of it. I don't mind a lit keyboard/mouse but the fruity colors just makes me wanna puke.

Anyhows now you know my take on this, and I know nothing about it, but my kid wants it. He want's the "breathing" effects on the KB, so that's a must. Matching mouse is also a plus, so combo?

Ain't spending a crap-ton as I only have my kid on weekends. He's not a pc gamer and the PS5 I bought him for xmas last year is collecting dust (yeah, I know, a waste). So the kb/mouse is going to get very minimal use. So under 75 bux is the mark.

He just wants it to look "cool" while he's doing his homework and watching videos of his yt idols and k-pop artists.

I've looked at so many that now I'm more confused and everything looks the same.

I love my ROG Strix Scope. It has RGB, but you can disable it...and it's out of budget... so not helpful...

Personally I would just go on amazon and grab any of the china brand rgb k/m sets between $30-$40, red dragon seems to be one of the more well known brands than most of the other, has the breathing effect, seems all the controls are built into the board, no software rgb control, the mouse it seems is only red led and breathing effect
