On my previous card, a 5900XT, Riva Tuner showed the "double" or "effective" memory clock of 700 instead of 350. But on my current 7600GT it shows 700, not 1400. What's the deal?

I have heard that it is a driver issue, but I can't back that up with any proof; so take it as a grain of salt.

Secondly, all you have to do is double the number, and you get your "Effective" clock. You still get full performance, it's just displayed in a different manner.
