hey
how do i use a TV as a monitor?

my mates got a laptop, with radeon 7500
plugged in the S video and a audio cable into a SCART converter...got the audio with no image

enabled the multiple monitor option
then got a grey screen with no audio

probably have to reduce your resolution down to Svideo levels which are sub 800x600

i thought the deskstop items would be on the TV....but guessed wrong

is there a function + F# key to change displays? my laptop (HP) dont display anything till you hit function + F5, and it will either do dual monitors, mirrored, or single display. pushing it again cycles through them.
