I'm a bit confused. You should get the on-line seller to give you the Corsair product number from his batch. There is a single channel and dual channel memory with very similar product numbers, all other aspects being the same. The letter "B" at the end of the sku will be the dual channel. Also, Asus doesn't list either on the QVL list on their web site but then again, the QVL hasn't been updated since July'12.

Wait so you have 1 4gb ddr3 stick? and the guy who wants to trade has 2 4gb sticks?
If so, you'll have to get another 4gb same stick as the one you have now, you cant just have 3 sticks and one slot without anything,

Well, you can, but it's just a very bad idea.
