Sandra scores from my new Dragon Ultra Platinum

I just got this board yesterday night, only had it running a couple hours and still playing with settings.

Specs:

MB=DUH
CPU=Athlon XP 2000+
Ram=1 stick of Corsair 512MB Pc2700
Video=Geforce3
Using onboard sound via optical out
Using onboard lan


Using the fastest ram timing execpt command rate which is at 2T

First tried 133:166 just to see if the ram can do 166 at cas2 which it did.

I then tried 148:148 at default voltage, ran just fine. Then tried 148:181 and had to go to cas 2.5 still rock solid......I think awesome never ran memory this fast

At the moment Im running at 152:152 with my cpu voltage at 1.775 volts. Thats right my little ol 1667 cpu is doing 1900Mhz with only a 0.05 increase in voltage.

Lets just say my line runs and follows the P4 1.8Ghz Intel 850 PC800 CL2 RDRAM line for while......

My 2KB block is at 15273MB/sec odd tho is my 4 and 8KB blocks are 16000+


My XP is still locked at 12.5 but have thought about unlocking it.

I should also point out that Im watercooling with 2 rads and water tank outside and at the moment its only like 35-40 degrees outside.


My cpu temp is at 80 degress right now and floats between 76-82. I think it would be better if I was using real Atric Silver and not the silver stuff that Compusa carries which I found out is the same stuff that AS website warns about....lol

I also havnt bother with 3D mark 2001 yet for the simple fact that my Direct 3D settings will be set high and thus my score will be lower compared to thos that want the highest score just to show off. I have thought trying to find a good opengl app to run, Any ideas?

Whats funny is I almost didnt get this board because of all the problems I read people had......Maybe Im just lucky?

What do you guys think? Ideas, comments, suggestions?

I was wondering on the memory scores......my scores are close to what sandra has for a KT333 running PC2700 ram at cas 2.5. Im asuming this score is from running at 133:133 ? if so, shouldnt my score be at least 100 points higher since Im running at 152Mhz with cas2?

Well I had to go up to 1.80 volts cuz my computer would restat at random times. Then I just now got up and my computer had locked up, not sure whats the cause.

I did run 3Dmark 2001SE and got 9207 tho I never saved the results before going to bed which is now gone because my computer locked up! Oh well.....

Those are pretty good scores. Unlock that chip and turn the fsb up a little more.

My memory scores were about about 120 points higher when I was running fsb at 170.

120 points more when running at 170? I dont get it.....when I was running at 148:181 my mem scores didnt improve all that much...

Thats because the athlon xp cant use the extra bandwidth. If the processor AND the memory ran at 181 mhz then you would see a nice jump. But since the memory is too fast for the cpu it waits around while your xp plays catchup.
