IIRC, SandyBridge didn't like anything over 2133 for daily use.
I'd run something like 2133 9-11-10-28 and see how it does.
 
The "USB device not recognized" loop bug kept coming back, only a clearCMOS fixed it. just to help others who might eventually have the same issue.

SB was good with 2133+ darn near if not every one. It was SBe that has the weaker IMCs...

Unlike SB where every CPU could do 2133mhz, with SBe not many can do 2400mhz.
