Serial No. & Year of Manufacture of AMD Processor?

Please can anyone tell me how can I find the Serial No. & Year of Manufacture of my 2.70 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ ? Is it written on the CPU ? Or is there any Software which will tell me this information ? Or will the AMD Website tell this to me ?

Basically , I only want to know the above mentioned details for the PROCESSOR .

The serial number is written on the top of the CPU. You would have to take the cooler off to see it. Plug that number into the form on this web page: http://www.cpu-world.com/

"Identify Part" on the right side of the page.

The free program, "CPU-z" will also give you some information about the CPU such as stepping, amount of cache, wattage and capabilities such as 3D Now but not the date of manufacture or serial number.
