All of our servers came up fine after the power outage. However we are currently experiencing a routing problem that we are working with campus on. This problem is preventing the distribution of work.

I always leave my preferences with a 10 day cache, that way I can still crunch during these short outages.

Our Internet connectivity was restored at 01:00 PDT today.

I have my preferences set to get 7 days work, yet somehow I went idle last night around 11PM.

If you are seeing the upload error message take the following steps:

1. Snooze Boinc
2. End Boinc
3. Go to task manager, and ensure BOINC is not running in the background
4. On a command line type "ipconfig /flushdns"
5. Restart BOINC
6. You should now be able to transmit your work units properly.

What do you do ES if it won't download new units?

Log into the seti website, go into your account, your computers, and look at your results to see if your results are returning errors. If they are bad results seti slowly reduces your allotment of down loadable units.

If your results are valid, and you cant get new work, then ensure that you are running the most recent version of the Boinc software. Old versions get cut off after a certain point.
