Working on my first ever PC build, I'm having a little trouble ensuring the fit of a cooler with my RAM. If any one has fit Trident Z RAM with Shadow Rock 3 cooler on a Asus z270e Mobo I'd really like to know. Or if not whats the best way to go about measuring to make sure it will fit including the fan.

Just looking at the stack ups from their respective websites it doesn't look like it unless you are able to mount the fan on the back of the cooler or if you only use two sticks of ram you may be able to use the outside set of ram slots. Just verify with the manual to make sure to use two slots that will still give you dual channel. Whether its slots 2 & 4 or 3 & 4.

Another option is to go with a low profile ram kit. This will all but guarantee fit.
