It often means a wall.....


It's highly possible that you need some 42 F-or-lower-temp air going into the case.

Or at the very least, needing to keep the cores at around 70 C or lower.

I have a hyper 212 with 2 fans . A 200mm fan blowing air at the heat sink from above. A rear exhaust fan . A fan mounted in the optical drive cage blowing air at the cpu heat sink. Another 200mm at the bottom front.

If you want better temps get a better cooler or H20 or delid that mofo!

Yup its not for everyone. Just those willing to void the warranty and want to OC the hell out their cpu!

What's your opinion on the cooler master thermal paste that's included with the hyper 212 . I have been using it ever since I assembled my built .

I have never used it so I can't comment on it. I used shin etsu for a long time and then one day I found some MX-4 for cheap and bought two big tubes. I like both, but MX-4 is easier to apply. If I am ever in a situation that I need thermal paste ASAP, I would fall back on AS5 (haven used in over 3 years though).
