Hi everyone, i had a 300GB file i was getting over torrent, i copied the file into windows from my nas so that i can fmart the nas hdd to another file system, now the file when it was on the NAS had a 300GB file size and a 50GB size on disk (50GB was downloaded so far), after copying it to windows i now realize that the size on disk has also changed to 300GB, thus taking excess space, is there any way to reverse this ?

My experience with torrent was that it always reserved the full disk space that it needed for the full file. I'm actually surprised that you saw a number that was less than the full file size when completed.
