Hi. My sound doesn't working and I have no idea why. This is my motherboard and it is supposed to have a built in sound card http://www.chaintechusa.com/tw/eng/product_spec.asp?MPSNo=13&PISNo=14 I installed the drivers that came with the motherboard and two other drivers. The speakers are plugged in correctly. My brother that knows a lot more about computers than me checked to make sure. Also, my dad checked to make sure and the speakers are turned on. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

I've always wanted to say that. :)

Have you checked your BIOS settings? I know that on some Socket A boards there is a jumper on the board somewhere to disable and enable onboard sound, you might want to check the manual for this.
