Ok so after I get a nice stable clock of 4.4 on my 8150 fx cpu ill restart my computer and then its right back down to the stock clock. Anyone had this problem or know why the hell its doing that??:bang head

Did you overclock with Windows software or with manual controls in bios?

First, we don't recommend overclocking with software as it can seldom allows you to manipulate enough variables to get both a high and a stable overclock.

Second, if you do choose to use software to overclock, you need to tell the software to load those same settings into Windows every time you restart the computer. The software will not retain the settings unless you tell it to. So find the place in the program interface that enables you to do that like "Configuration" or "Options".
