Stress one core on i7 2600

I wan't to test my Turbo Boost Power Limits.
I need to stress only one core. How to do it?
What software I should use?

Use Prime 95 and set it to run 1 thread.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I can't seem to stress one core with prime95 running 1 thread. The load still gets spread across all cores. Did you alter other settings?

In task manager allow application to use only one core.
