I decided to build a new rig for gaming and uni but i dont have much expierience with watercooling.

Ive done a fair bit of reading up on it but am not sure what is to much and what is overkill.

I was thinking of using this for cooling the cpu:

im not sure whether to go with the prebuilt rig for cpu and build another loop for gpu or to pick parts for both loops or just make 1 bigger loop, suggestions? is there a huge difference in performance between 2 loops or 1 loop?

this will be my system:

Anyone know the best performance/cost watercool parts?

Well...if you're doing gpu cooling, you should probably just pick your own parts...the XT isn't really the best CPU cooler anymore. Do some reading on skinneelabs and martin's liquid labs. Something a lot of people overlook is fans, so read up on that...also this.

oh, and be aware that on that case you'll have to go external with your rad mounts or do some pretty serious modding. If you want to go internal, look for a different case...

Well I'll point you to the stickies up top. Most of this info is from the DT doc in the stickies. That done I'll say unless you overclock under normal usage you'll have about 350 watts of heat, 200 CPU 150 GPU. Not a giant amount.

A Quality 120x3 radiator (there are many) with good 2000 rpm max fans would get you at a decent DT temp. Unless your looking for very quiet or very low twmps to overclock.

Plan ahead, you do plan to Xfire? Then make two seperate loops now. Just what's in your list? Get a 120x3 or a 120x4 if your an overclocker.

best bet is read for a while before you buy. Ohh another link with VERY important links within. Bookmark?

That Swiftec kit is a great way to get into watercooling for someone that's newer to it. I've built a few machines with that little kit...it's a very nice kit. That said, the 220 rad is only enough to cool a CPU in my opinion. It's a good solution for a decent overclock and silence. If you swap out the 220 for a 320 rad then it really starts to shine. I did this on one of my builds, worked very well. Eventually I ended up adding to the loop a GPU and putting the 220 back into service. In the end I wish I had gone with two separate loops.

My point is, I think thats a great starter kit for a CPU. But a custom solution will work better if you think your going to be adding GPUs down the road.
