Super noob building his first pc - need help

So it's my birthday next thursday, so I thought I would build a pc.
I will initially have $1000 and then over the next few weeks I will get more money. So I would like you guys to recommend me an initial gaming build for about $1000 and then tell me what I should add to it as I get more money (I will add an extra $500-800 when i get the money).

I definitely want to oveclock and I will want to run dual graphics card later down the road.

Now I am also gong to want to connect this pc to my tv.
And while were at it could you guys recommend me a gaming mouse, keyboard and 32" tv to connect to my xbox 360, ps3 and soon to be pc

Why a TV and a monitor?

Btw, there's an edit button in the bottom right hand corner of your post, no need to double post. Just get a single small TV for everything.
