TL;DR Despite some of the stats, we are doing very well. Stay the course and keep trying.
If you’re looking for the best in all this goodness, skip down to the milestones. Lots and lots of good stuff there.
Right off the bat here, we are now #6 in the world down from #5. There is no shame in it, we just don’t have the power of LinusTechTips at the moment. We also are being chased down by another new player of AWSFolding. With the power of Amazon Web Services, we don’t stand a chance. Neither did any other team that they’ve already passed up in just a short month. Yeah, 4 weeks and they are #29 in the world. They have 32 active folders with one of them earning nearly 3… get this… 3 billion ppd. That ppd as in daily. By one user. So yeah. There’s that.
Like many of you, my ability to get WUs has been more miss than hit. That’s OK. We are all hear and ready to fold when the work is available. Stay with it. That is the one thing that we have over all of these other teams. We are long term and dedicated. These flash in the pan teams will fly past us but they will fizzle out and we will earn our spots back. We can and we will. Slow and steady and they can eat our dust over time.
