the little hole!

on a p4 northwood what is the little hole for? i read somewhere its to release pressure and somewhere else to to release gas... but i somehow dont think that sounds right?

its just mine is full of artic silver! whats it for?

its there to equalize the pressure between the outside and the inside of the IHS. nothing to worry about.
