Thermal Paste Question?

Hey,

This might be silly question. I'm currently building a new PC, I installed my blocks about two months ago but I haven't finished putting the all components in the case. Can the thermal paste/pads go bad? I have never turned on my PC. I'm I ok? Hopefully I don't have to rip everything apart to re-apply .

Hi KFume,

Based on personal experience, you do not have to rip your rig apart to reapply thermal paste. You should be fine. I reapply thermal paste once a year or when I pull apart my laptop for a thorough dusting.
