Thermalright backplate doubt 1155

Hi guys, I was wondering if the backplate the Thermalright Mux120 black comes with can be used with a Silver Arrow or not.
I had the mux120 installed but now removed it cause I traded my cpu for a 3770k.
The backplate is still installed though.
What do you guys think? Any first hand experience with this?

If you look at the bracket there it looks like it's the same bar across the base plate concept. It might work.

The base plate looks the same as my TRUE with that hole in the base that the bar fits into. As long as it fits I don't see the harm in trying.

Do you already have the silver arrow or are you looking to buy one?

That's the same pressure vault mounting system that the VenX has. I know it fits the TRUE Rev 3 as well.

If the MUX120 has the little knob on top of the baseplate that you can use to adjust the mounting pressure, I'd think it was the same.

I have a mux and a Silver Arrow on its way here...already bought it.
It comes with mountings though, just wanted to know if I had to remove the mux backplate to install it, that's all.

Oh, I misunderstood. Ya the screws should be all standard if its made with the same company.

I think it should work, but I'll just remove the backplat and call it a day. Good to know though...I'll sell the mux to a friend and thus get a free Silver Arrow lol
