The fan is slightly bigger so it stands to reason that it wouldnt have to spin as fast to produce the same CFM - right?
I have had quite a few TT fans (both cpu and case) and i think they under state the actual noise level. For instance my old volcano 7 , over 3500rpm and you would start to pull your hair out, 4000rpm+ and you think an aeroplane is going to land on you.
I know it is adjustable but noise has to be a big factor and enermax are pretty good at making silent fans, where TT are well known for making screemers.
I agree that for 92 mm fan, the Enermax is a better choice. It has more CFM per dbA. At 64 CFM, TT SFII would be very loud, i.e. CFM/dbA not good.
A 92 mm fan is more efficient than a 80 mm fan for CFM / dbA.
This is the spec for a 80 mm Enermax, which would not be all around as the TT SFII at higher CFM for testing. That is why for 80 mm fan, I think most ppl like TT SFII. But for 92 mm fan, up to 64 CFM, Enermax is a better choice.
