Yup, run into the same problem here in Australia. Though thankfully we've enough decent stuff to choose from these days that you don't have to sacrifice anything. Its a bit different to 10 years ago. Heck, with PSU's you could choose Antec or Enermax, there was no other enqusiast grade/quality PSU's. Same with everything else....

Okay, I had trouble found hd 6870 at the market here,
instead I purchased HD 6790

It seems run very well at high setting
