Long story short I’ve been wanting to buy some XRP and possibly other crypto for a while and just sit on it for years to come. Im going in this totally intending on losing all my money. The way I see it is I could gamble this amount of money away at a casino, scratch offs etc or buy some XRP and sit it out for years and have a much higher chance of actually making some sort of profit. By the way I rarely gamble or buy scratch offs. 
But that being said I’ve done some reading on which exchange to buy from etc. but reviews are mixed and I just want a reliable company that might not get hacked. So, I always come to the experts here because you guys/girls deal in this daily and know the ropes.
Question 1 which exchange do you trust and buy from and why?
Question 2 what wallet do you trust what is the most secure etc
Question 3 what other coins other than BTC, and XRP do you think could be a high return coin and why? P.S. Im looking for long term return possibly part of my retirement I’m only 28 so year and years.
Also, could you link solid information about this process I’ve googled but when money is involved, I don’t want to take a gamble I don’t mind reading etc. just want to read good information and not a post that is sponsored by one of the exchanges or wallets secretly.
I won’t be dumping my life savings into this just small amounts on each coin(s) for the possibility of high returns years and years down the road. I just like to diversify my investments/ saving in other things than fiat money.
