what are folks using for distilled water source?

is walmart distilled water acceptable? it just seems foolish to be paying for shipping water when it's 7 lbs / gallon

I was adding Walmart distilled water to car battery with no adverse side effects. I wouldn't see why not

I've never really spent much time thinking about it. I just buy distilled water where ever I can find it, usually my local super market. I believe my last purchase was poland spring distilled. If Walmart were closer I'd get it there myself. My loop has been going nearly 6 years without issue. All I add is a little biocide.

Yup. $.79 to $.99 a gallon half a block from my house at Dollar General. If I need it after 9 PM I splurge for the pricey stuff at Circle K for $1.69. Livin' large, that is.
