Its a "laptop" package.

If you are refering to the cpu, which is a P-M, it kills cellery chips, and is just as fast a P4 with a 1ghz clock difference.

Do M chips perform more per cycle than say an A64 type chip? Just curious. I think I might have read they were about the same?

Centrino refeers to the low power cpu and networking (wireless) package used in notbooks.
