What is the Pinnacle Studio Moviebox HD?

My neighbor asked about this. I couldn't tell anything since we don't have need of something like this. I know there are apps for his Apple AIO, but that's is.

I'm looking for information I can send or tell him, bearing in mind in this area I'm as ignorant as he is.
