SOLVED What Is This Sync Folder?

OS: Windows 8.1 Pro
Other Sync Programs: Box Sync and GoodSync 9.X



What is this Sync folder and can I remove it?

I don't know what that is. I don't have that or the "Box Sync" folder on my Windows 8.1 laptop. So, I don't see any reason you can't get rid of it.

It's windows sky drive. I've semi trashed two windows 8 installs trying to get rid of that crap.
One machine won't install a security update after I made some custom strings in the registry and the other says sync sky drive has stopped working.

Big brother data rape... I call it. Lol

Yes as soon as you use the sky drive it creates that folder.

Honestly just leave it be... As fast as you make ways to destroy it Microsoft plug the exploits... Big brother says No!
