What is wrong with my modem? (Keeps hanging)

Hi!

I am using an ArtNet ADSL modem with Connexant Config System:

Firmware Version: ETHADSL_USB_080902_REL9P
Customer Software Version: 080902_REL9P-ARTNET-01

The problem is occasionally/sometimes the connection hangs / I can't access the internet and I can't access the modem config system (http://10.0.0.1). I have to reset the modem, and reconnect it. I know the modem is causing this, as restting fixes the problem.
