p3 -500-128mb This is and old computer -and i need to find what kind of windows will work on it i lost my copy of windows 98.Will windows 2000 work on my computer. Please Help

2k and xp will run on that,,,,,,but so will many flavors of linux, if you are so inclined.

Anything should work, I've got a K6-2 400mhz with 384mb of ram that runs XP just fine. My mom uses it for basic office work: word processing, spreadsheets, Adobe, e-mail, surfing. Course it's not lightning fast, but it's much more stable than 98SE.
