250GB hard drive
i7 2600K
16GB RAM
Win7, various small apps
Is it normal for the OS and newly loaded programs to load up in a fragmented way?
Does it matter?
Is it perhaps beneficial in some way that the programs are spread out on the hard drive when loading them, with a generous amount of space between them given?
After loading a fresh copy of Windows 7, all the updates for it, and a dozen or small applications onto a new computer build; I find by running Defraggler, that the hard drive is quite fragmented.
