Could you enable Aero and see if you can get the menu to appear again? Maybe it's just us not recognizing what it actually is with the classic theme?

I don't dual boot simply because of how much it depresses me. It's like going back to your abusive parents house after your weekend with the one good parent because of the divorce.

Anyway it's back again. I'm closing this thread... I give up and I seriously hate Windows

Run a different shell. That'll fix it for good. I use emerge desktop when I (rarely) boot into winblows.

I used SharpE for a long time. It is pretty nice.

I really prefer litestep but it looks like development has all but stopped
