Windows 7 hanging when deleting files.

Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this before... explorer freezes when attempting to delete a file, for me it seems to be .exe files, and almost always in the firefox download folder. Explorer will freeze with a window stating "calculating"..

Seems the only way to get rid of the files when this happens is to go into safe mode. This issue happened on my old system as well as this new one.

I just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced it? It's really odd.

Someone somewhere had suggested disabling indexing in services, which I did... not sure yet if that will fix anything.
