windows vista home premium repair disk

to make a long story short 1 of my vista rigs needs a repair disk (i think i neednow i seethem for about $10 but well.... if it does not work i wasted $10so is there a place i can get a repair disk for Free?

Pretty sure you can download just the Recovery Envirionment.

1 thing i forgot to say Vista will not boot in safemode or any other mode gets same error

BSOD?

Post the stop error. If its 0x7f (most common) your controller type probably got changed. (IDE to RAID or AHCI mode)

this is what it says

Info windows failed te load because the system registry file is missing, or corrupt.



also on the top it says to put install disk in and click repair (will more words of course)

Ouch, yeah try the repair options I linked above.

Uhh, looks like Mahmoud got smacked by MS lawyers after 4 years of providing rescue disks for free and now has to charge $9 for the DL.

Looks like only free way would be via an OS trial via torrent or something.
