Wired is retarded. Once FF13 comes out I'm buying a PS3. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I just got Crisis Core on the PSP and OMFG is it cool.

Wired hasn't been relevant in over ten years. Soon they'll write: "Can blood in Mortal Kombat I save the Genesis?"
360 is still by far and away more popular console and sony still couldnt **** a decent first party or exclusive title if it tried, mind you all is quiet on the 360 release front too there is gta4 on both systems of course. Wii fit and mario kart wii are wiping the floor in our store and smash bros brawl is creating a huge hype
GT5 doesn't count. It's a $40 demo.
Gears of War 2...how about Fable 2? Halo Wars is coming, Supreme Commander is being ported to the 360.
.
The only good thing the PS3 has going for it right now is it's use as an overpriced blu-ray player.
I think the real question should be Who Cares??
IF you spend less time talking about consoles you can have more time spent playing them or doing something else. Go go
PS3 is here to stay, it is not going anywhere. So is the xbo360. As long as there is competition, its the consumers who will enjoy the benefits.
As for blu-ray vs downloadable media (i'm assuming you are referring to HD movie), I will say Blu-ray. Have you ever notice how much Comcast charges for a HD movie? $3.99 for a regular movie, and $5.99 for HD movie, plus tax. I think this price is ridiculous. Not only that, the selection sucks balls. Right now, you can subscribe to Netflix or Blockbuster online for a low month subscription fee, and you can get more movies in Blu-ray. I have the cheapest sub with netflix at $8.99 a month, and I average a movie a week. Just 2 HD movies alone from Comcast is already more expensive than my netflix monthly fee. For your information, Netflix do stream movies online (via PC only and non-HD). It's unlimited and part of the package. It will be a long time later before the internet with live stream and downloadable media will replace a 50GB disc.
HA! You think! I quit both Blockbuster and Netfix because they must own like ONE copy of each movie in BluRay or HD-DVD for ALL OF NORTH AMERICA as your chances of getting it or it moving out of Long Wait status was slim to none.

onoez, we has a fanboy!
I'm guessing you've never played a PS3, amirite? What about exclusives? I understand that your Kmart is selling Mario Kart quite well, as it is everywhere, but to say that PS3 "couldn't *** a decent first party or exclusive" is... well, ignorant. The latest? GT5. While the 360 release front may be silent, it does have GoW2 for it, but not much else coming soon.
