Hi

I need to build a new Workstation.

We do quite a bit of FEM (CAD) but not enough to justify a doam CPU XEON System.
CAD = high clock single thread
FEM = high parallel threads

so we wonna try a Bulldozer setup (later also a SB-E setup)

some components are already fixed.

AMD test setup:
-AMD FX 8130 or FX 8150 if released at same time with FX 8130
-OCZ Revodrive 3 240GB
-Nvidia Quadro 4000

MB isn't defined, but need to be overclock friendly.
RAM also not defined, need 12-24 GB RAM with low Latency. maybe some 1800 Mhz ones?
Power supply is also not defined. Some with enough security features?
System would be cooled with water.

Can someone do a call for RAM and Power supply?
Price range =1000$ for both

Those Quadro cards don't really take much power compared to gaming cards, this is quality over capacity.

The motherboards are dual channel, meaning you want either two or four sticks of RAM. Which leaves you at 16GB or 32GB options. These are the only 8GB sticks on Newegg, this isn't very mainstream yet: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211564
