Nope, old gen.

You can get better (more recent) parts for the same price or less if you build it yourself.

If you really don't feel like building your own its not the worst price. Its full of older parts they are clearly trying to get rid of but the performance will still be decent.

If you want to build your own can start with something like this.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XrcPPs

Buy a cheap OEM Win10 license and you would be set. If you had a cpl hundo more could step up the quality a good bit.

If you need to go cheaper you could go i3 or R5 with a 1060 in the $800 range.

Well i have a lenovo y700 laptop right now i can see if their is a windows 10 key on it!

And btw.... Thats the kinda build im looking for but i need it down to around the 850-900 range

phew!!!

how would i buy this off of PcPartPicker?

what's the resolution of your monitor?
if it's 1080p, the 1060, 6gig card is up your alley.

Do you live near a Microcenter?
One near me has 3 i5-8400's in stock. If you get cpu\mb together get a bundle discount.
If not you can check any local stores. Most places online are sold out.

If your budget is $850-900 why ask if you should buy an $1100 system?

Here are a cpl super budget builds.

the reason being is that i wanted a 1070 is because i have a lot of horsepower and is my dream to get a pc that powerful. i have a 1080p monitor for those asking. i heard some people on youtube built 1070 pcs at around 850-900. i was also thinking if i save a little more i could stretch the budget

yup its 1080p

Well you can switch out the 1060 in either of those builds to a 1070, just add $150 to the price tag.
If you don't have any place local to buy you can get most of the parts from Newegg or Amazon.
