Title says it all.
A friend's computer's memory decided to play dead. They have lifetime warranty, but, alas, now I have to handle it with the OEM. This guy needs the computer asap, so I'm not gonna bother and will just order something from Amazon, the question is.
Would you buy 1x8 or 2x4 GBs?
System is an Athlon II "typewriter" (since it's only used to write papers and do some research, nothing fancy).
I would usually look for benchmarks and everything else by myself, but it's been a stressing and tiring day and I can't help but get confused with anything I read.
