Ok my brother let me borrow his RAM stick and I got this score.

5811 on 3dMark06

I have no idea what the RAM was doing but it was what was keeping me back. I will order some Corsair soon, but at least Im glad to have found the problem.

BTW The Vid Card is plugged into the x16 Slot.
 
Well thats weird as hell...i just read through this whole series of posts and i agree with buckeye, i would have thought it was the ram. unless there was something seriously wrong with it that we couldnt have told from cpu-z. my first hunch was some sort of driver problem.

well at least you found the problem, glad to hear it.
 
Yeah, that's very, very strange. One or both of the Kingston modules must have been defective. Usually bad memory will cause system instability--not a decrease in performance.
