Goodmorning everyone.
I state that I am NOOB in terms of overclocking.
I have a problem with overclocking an Asus X-99 Pro and Corsair Dominator DDR4 3300Mhz.
If I activate the XMP profile of the 3300Mhz RAM, the pc will not start.
If you use Asus EZ Tuning Wizard (all on AUTO), the DDR4 increase from 2133Mhz to 2447Mhz with a BCLK set automatically to 102Mhz, the pc start.
I start from this point, and using Ai Tweaker, I increase the frequency of 2447Mhz RAM to a slightly higher value pre-calculated by AI tweaker (eg: 2583Mhz),the pc does not start.
What should I increase or verify to get at least 2800Mhz? The dream would be 3200Mhz.

The RAM specifications are as follows: DOMINATOR® PLATINUM 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4 DRAM 3300MHz C16 Memory Kit (start 2133Mhz 15-15-15-36 1.2V).
XMP 2.0 mode: 16-18-18-36 1.35V (3300Mhz).

Asus X-99 Pro can use DDR4 3300Mhz. I do not know if can reach them.

Thank you all.

Welcome to the world of ram compatibility headaches. Some ram and some mobos just don't get along together. Maybe those better than I can get it going at full speed, but in this scenario I'd turn on XMP, then manually turn down the speed. Try 2666 first, if ok, try 2800, and so on.

ok. the XMP profile is active. when I try to increase slightly the Mhz of the ram (from 2447 to 2501), the pc does not start. do you advise me to increase the BCLKs and the voltages?

I'm not really sure if X99 can do 3200+ at quad channel. There are some Z370 boards that can barely do 3466 at dual channel.
Anyway, I would personally set bclk to 100 and not play around with it. You may want to check if X99 has an option of increasing the voltage of the memory controller, which is what I had on my X79 (it was called vccsa).
Finally, just wait for Woomack to respond. dude's a RAM beast

make sure you use the XMP 2.0 mode: 16-18-18-36 1.35V (3300Mhz) settings vs the slower 2133 speed. leave the timings and voltage set to the xmp 2.0 but manually drop the ddr4 speed to 3200mhz. if that doesnt post try repeating the above but then change the timings to 18-18-18-38

It's not guaranteed you will run more than 3200 on X99. It's also not guaranteed that this memory will work on every setup as there were problems on some motherboards as I remember and it didn't work at all or you had to play with some additional settings.

Skip XMP and set manually 3200 16-18-18 1.35V. There is a chance that the motherboard will set all timings better than it is in XMP profile. It may need SA like +0.1V (I don't remember how high was stock but should be 0.95V or something near, if yes then set 1.05V or 1.1V ... just an example)
