Funny how Realtemp shows it to be a BE CPU and CPU-z does not. At any rate it is a C2 stepping and not a C3 so 3.6 ghz is about all you can expect.

Realtemp is for Intel. I'd expect that to be wrong.

All 965 C2's were Black Editions BTW. Only the C3's came both ways.

enough upgrade from 13.12 to 16.12.2 ...
but still cant do more overclocking 3,6Ghz+ tried x19 all ranges from 1.35 to 1,5V = blue screen after few second prime95

Mr Scott and Trents know thier stuff, but if there is anything that can be done to get you past 3.6 it will be in Dolk's Guide. Give it a read through and see what you think. I religiously go back to re-read this thing every time I try to push past my current OC.

On a C2 the only thing that will help is cooling. It's a 140w chip at stock. It's almost FX hot.
