XP not recognizing external HDD

I have a 250GB external drive that XP isn't recognizing. It's just this computer, all of my other machines see it just fine. On my computer, however, it just comes up as "USB Mass Storage Device" with an exclaimation point next to it in Device Manager. Whats going on?
