I saw the old poll on this subject was getting pretty long in the tooth, so I figured I would close out the old poll and start a new one up. I will set this poll up to last 1 year, after which I will start another poll and try to do this yearly.

Anyways, How much did you spend on your water cooling setup?

I'll start off with the loop in my main system:

pump - $60
cpu block - $50
gpu block and ramsinks - $80
PA120.3 - $115
heater core - $20
Reservoir - $50
tubing - $30
fans - $25
misc - $20
Total -$450

That's just a rough estimate off the top of my head.

Swiftech kit with apogee GT, MCP655, MCR240, MCres and tubing.

Added the NB block from swiftech and primochill Black tubing.

Total cost of about 400$ canadian. FULLY HAPPY !

Can I vote again? I should have said 401 or more dang it. Oh well. :)

lol i guess your the $301-$400 person :)

ordered 3 loops pretty much and now it's one giant one.

3x Swiftech MCR320
2x MCP655
1x MCW60 R2
1x Dtek Fuzion V2
18x high speed yate loon fans.
1x Laing D4 not used.

This was my frist WCing build so i had to get everything except tools

So yeah i am in the 600+ catagory

Let's see:
GTZ-45
PA120.3-55
MCR220-25
4870 block-45
fans-25
fan controller-30
ek res-45
tubing-15
fittings-too much
edit: forgot the MCP355+XSPC top-50

First time I've dared to count it up...and man, it makes me feel a little queasy.

i think im at around $375 CDN, plus the fans, although i already had most of them laying around beforehand.
planning on increasing that number before too much longer though

If I were building one from scratch today it'd run about $220 or so depending on the fans and including the GPU. The MCW60 is cheap ($40), Fusion is still a great block (especially with my home-made jet ;) $55), a single MCP655 ($60), and I love heater cores - a pair would do fine ($40) - leaving $25± for the other odds and ends. Even if I spent $50 on fans, clamps, and hoses it's still under $250 total ... :)

mcp355+xspc top
black ice xtreme 2x120mm
77' boneville heatercore (a second one because dad drilled through the first, though the first was free.)
maze4+tec. (from here 25$)
tubing

the mcw-60 and heatsink for the 285 was a prize from our last folding contest.

GTZ: $60
ST 120.2: $50
D5: $35 (new on forums!)
ST Micro-res v2: $20
4x120mm Deltas: $32
Tubing: $20
Coolant: $5

Total: $222

Where's the "Way too much" entry, lol.
Probably about $400 bucks or so, I would err on the high side....
Totaling it up:
Apogee - $65
PA120.3 - $115
Tubing(s) - ~$30
MCP655 - $60
MWC-60 - $60
Ramsinks - $40
Panaflos - $30

Yeah, that's about $400+....yikes....

I paid $150 for everything in my sig (+ tubing and nozzles etc). But its value even 1.5 years ago was well over that. So I put $250-$300.

Prices are rough and from memory:

MCP-355: $70
XSPC Res Top: $40
Swiftech MCR-320: $50
D-Tek Fuzion V.2: $50
Danger Den Maze 4 universal chipset: $30
Swiftech MCW-60r2: $40
Barbs: $25 (10 x $2.50)
Tubing: $24 (12ft x $2.00/ft)
Ultra High Speed Panaflo fans: $45 (3 x $15)

Total so far: $374
Add shipping and we're at the $401+ mark.

Heh, muddocktor, you might want to add a couple higher options, judging from the poll results. :)

So far this year I got a new block (cheap off Xoxide) and a Swiftech pump (cheap off Sidewinder) so a bit over $100. Still need the hold down plate for the block depending on which board I end up going with in a month and I', reusing my current 120x2 rad. I still need to replace reservoir as the current one is tied to Thermaltake pump I'm currently using.

Next time I list a new poll I will add another higher category to it (maybe even 2). I hate to change it right now since quite a few have already voted. But you are right, since almost half who have voted have gone with the highest cost category already.
